Yes, its true ! Stay Gold is finally here, Emerica’s latest and most anticipated skate video has made its way to Dubai.

RAGE is happy to announce that we will be holding a Cinema screening for STAY GOLD DVD onThursday, September 9th, at the Dubai Festival City Cinemas at 8:30pm. Please try and make your way down to the RAGE shop in DFC at 8:30pm, so that we can get everyone gathered up together.

Big round of applause for our third-time winner: Ibrahim Wadhai who stomped all of his tricks and won the éS Game of SKATE in Dubai this weekend. Also congrats to the runner-ups 2nd:Kyle Smith and 3rd: Evan Collisson for making it to the finals! Have fun in Paris Ibrahim!

With heats up to 45+ celsius during the summer, we held the event indoors right outside our Dubai Festival City shop. There was great surprise and onlooking action from shoppers passing through. Skaters crammed the hallway as each skater went head to head.

Thanks to all the skaters that came down, as always with each year we throw this amazing event, the level of skating keeps rising. Although the cream always rises to the top and it’s no wonder because this was Ibrahim’s THIRD éS Game of SKATE win!!!

Congrats Ibrahim! Hold it down in Paris! We got your back!

Well…what can you expect when you mix an all-star cast of rappers with a floating stage and a pinch of New Era? The ‘Recipe’ at DFC of course! The unbelievable line up of Kaz Money, P Storm, The Truth, Swerte, Young Vaughn, Tru, Jabbar, Hirabeat and DJ Crunchcredit came together to kill the show. New Era sponsored the event, supplying the artists with the freshest New Era hats in Dubai. Plenty of hats were also given out for those willing to join the beat box competition or in random throw outs. New Era also brought a graffiti wall for local graff heads Slck and Geo to leave their mark. Check out the pics of the New Era stencil made from people’s signatures that attended. Did I mention Mtv filmed the whole thing and will be popping up on your TV’s soon!

Last Friday after we put the final touches on our hotwheels car at Dubai Festival City, we unveiled it to the public and received a ton of praise! Not only did our skate mobile generate the most money for autism charity (1,500 AED) but we also get to keep it. All thanks to the owner of Rage, Shahriar, for ultimately winning the highest bid after lots of back and forth bidding with DFC!

Tamer and Peter did a great job building the ramps and most of all big ups to Evan and Leigh for putting so much time into making sure the car came out sick. Soon enough you’ll get to skate the car yourself in the Rage Skatepark at DFC!

We are excited to announce that May will be Cliché Skate Series month! We’ve always loved Cliché even before we had them in our shop, so this May we’ve decided to go all out with a premiere of their new video entitled Clé on May 7th which will launch the Cliché Skate Series for the rest of the month.

The Rage car as of Wednesday, April 22nd, 2009

Just a few weeks ago, Rage was offered by the good folks at Dubai Festival City to participate in the Car Art Festival. They told us we would get a car and be able to do whatever the heck we wanted with it alongside a bunch of other participants. The cars will be auctioned off for an autism charity here in Dubai. Not only was it the first event of it’s kind here in Dubai, but for us especially! We were totally down, to say the least. 

After a lot of brainstorming between our creative guys, Evan and Leigh came up with a really rad concept we’re sure you’re all gonna love! We’re making amazing progress so far, you can come down to the site if you want to check it out. We’re parked right outside of Marks&Spencer at Dubai Festival City.

We have until April 30th to finish our car, and on May 1st there will be a big ceremony to show everyones finished cars.
