Woooo! This thursday at Dubai Festival City we premiered the new Cliché video ‘Clé’ and a new Rage promo featuring the team. (You’ll be able to get your own copy of this dvd soon!) Plus if you were one of the first 100 skaters who showed up to the premiere last night, we hope you all enjoyed the free Clé DVD! Go check out those bonus sections!
We started it off with the Rage promo, its just under 5 minutes which you could tell people were bummed about when it finished so soon. But the team all have some dope footage in there. All except for Kyle of course (that lazy bastard), but don’t worry you’ll find him in the bonus sections of the dvd copy!
The Cliché video started and had everyones eyes glued to the big screen the entire time! JB Gillet has the first part and also one of the most buttery styles of the whole team mixed with the flamenco style guitar song just made it perfect. The part is shared with Lucas Puig who’s got a ton of footage you’d be surprised they didn’t use in fully flared. Yep. Their new rider, Flo Mirtain, has a flawless style and a nice trick selection, his bs 360 kickflip ender really stood out from the whole video as a best trick, for sure. Then who else? Oh yes, Javier Mendizabal destroys everything from street to bowls, pretty incredizabal.
Ricardo Fonseca continues to stomp every trick he does in his latest part. Cale Nuske was a hit for everyone, there were a ton of cheers when they saw his first trick, which happened to be in Hatta, UAE! Big treflip fakie on a bank spot up in the mountains. He also had a few other tricks from Oman too. His nollie bs flip back lip fakie was… nuts and bolts.
The photos don't really do this crowd justice. It was a riot in there!
Joey Brezinski’s part was jam packed with tricks that are sure to make you rewind again and again. His technicality is more fluent than ever. He also chose a good song by Beirut. Charles Collet kills it with hammer after hammer and more slam footy which he seems to be notorious for! Last part was a shocker. Andrew Brophy is like Reese Forbes with his pop but on a whole other level with his tricks. Truly amazing!
