WILD IN THE STREETS! ABU DHABI
Wild in the Streets 09’ (UAE edition) started out like any other day, running from the house to the car transfixed on nothing else but tuning the AC to high. Abu Dhabi is about 68 nautical miles (127 kilometres) from Dubai and boasts an ever-evolving landscape and skate populous that we felt couldn’t be ignored for this year’s Wild In The Streets 2009.

MC Amin, one of the finalists in the hip hop reality show Beit Il Hip Hop, had his first major video recently. New Era helped out the upcoming MC by supplying his crew with some fresh caps to rock in the video.

ABU DHABI - URBAN CHALLENGE
The AD urban challenge was a four day event, which included everything from a car show to skateboarding, rollerblading, BMX, B Boys, Beat Boxing, graffiti, basketball, football and live shows. Rage had our own store and supplied the prizes for many of the events.

THE RECIPE AT D.F.C.
Well…what can you expect when you mix an all-star cast of rappers with a floating stage and a pinch of New Era? The ‘Recipe’ at DFC of course! The unbelievable line up of Kaz Money, P Storm, The Truth, Swerte, Young Vaughn, Tru, Jabbar, Hirabeat and DJ Crunchcredit came together to kill the show. New Era sponsored the event, supplying the artists with the freshest New Era hats in Dubai.

Woooo! This thursday at Dubai Festival City we premiered the new Cliché video 'Clé' and a new Rage promo featuring the team. (You'll be able to get your own copy of this dvd soon!) HOT WHEELS!
Last Friday after we put the final touches on our hotwheels car at Dubai Festival City, we unveiled it to the public and received a ton of praise! Not only did our skate mobile generate the most money for autism charity (1,500 AED) but we also get to keep it. All thanks to the owner of Rage, Shahriar, for ultimately winning the highest bid after lots of back and forth bidding with DFC!

We are excited to announce that May will be Cliché Skate Series month! We've always loved Cliché even before we had them in our shop, so this May we've decided to go all out with a premiere of their new video entitled Clé on May 7th which will launch the Cliché Skate Series for the rest of the month.

RAGE TAKES ‘CAR ART FESTIVAL’ FOR A SPIN!
Just a few weeks ago, Rage was offered by the good folks at Dubai Festival City to participate in the Car Art Festival. They told us we would get a car and be able to do whatever the heck we wanted with it alongside a bunch of other participants. The cars will be auctioned off for an autism charity here in Dubai. Not only was it the first event of it's kind here in Dubai, but for us especially! We were totally down, to say the least.
